ADULT ADHD treatment & how to overcome

What do you do when you think you have ADHD & you are an adult, they say that the majority of adults diagnosed have been bounced by their children.

"If you look at ADHD in treated and untreated populations, the risk of substance abuse, serious accidents, work problems, and family problems is much, much higher in nontreated people," says Lenard Adler, MD, director of the Combined Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology Adult ADHD Program at New York University School of Medicine. I will tell you from my personal experience that I have ADHD as an adult, it was mainly stemmed because I didn't receive the proper treatment as a teenager for my PTSD. Some say that if you have had depression or other like prognosis, that it becomes more severe as an adult. I am a walking legend of this, if anyone suffers from ADHD, it's because you were depressed as a child & more than likely it was repressed by others around you being angry on how you were reacting or not acting. When it gets to the point where you are being self destructive with your life, you aren't able to see it when it's there but hopefully within time, life & medicene will advance and you'll be able to take on new challenges.

I personally never saw what was happening to me, because I was in the turmoil. I thought I had it together then one day, I just completely went another direction. I often blamed others for what I saw as failures yet never really looked within myself, why I really couldn't stand to be around people when before I loved being around people. I was constantly irritable, I divulged myself into drinking alot, doing things that were completely unsafe and my financial situation went to the crapper in a blink of an eye. I finally hit bottom and I'll tell you I didn't think there was any hope for me then. I was in bad relationships that I knew needed to end yet I was too codependant & was too scared to be alone.

When you have hit ground zero, you don't think there is any hope for you, I know because I have been there. I am no one to get excited about because there are probably a couple million people who have also gotten out of the slump. They'll agree that it wasn't easy & there were many consequences to fae & endure. I remember thinking when I started seeing things not going the right way that this was the sign that I wasn't supposed to keep going yet I did because there was something in me that was saying, come on, you can do this. No, it wasn't Rob Schneider :) The path is tough yet the treatment is very simple.

It has to be in you, no pill, no magic juice, no talk show self help guru is going to get you to do what you need to do. You have the power to create your own path, It has to be within you. I remember asking myself, "AM I READY TO MAKE A CHANGE?" I eventually went to the doctor & they put me on a regiment of a structured diet, exercise & personal time plan. I am not one to take medicene, I figure I am already imbalanced, why risk imbalancing my life anymore? I hope that if you are having a hard time coping, seek within yourself & others. Believe me you will be surprised who comes out for you in time of need.

I seriously can't wait to get this game. I am extremely excited. If you know who I am, you'll know that this just makes me the happiest gamer in the world. I'll have to take a semester off school just so I can beat the whole game. Although I am not ready to consolidate my school loans and start paying it all back because I have yet to get through my program. I guess I'll have to learn to manage my time so I can do work, school, homework & play video games. The other great thing is that this game comes out a few days before my birthday & on my my favorite console! I have already pre-ordered the game and I am ready for it to be here already! To the people who don't know me, I am a video game lover. I wish I could play all the time. Although I know that won't be possible unless I was able to get a job somewhere playing video games all the time. That'd be radical to work at Rockstar or some other video game testing center. Wow, now that would be amazing, but I can also see where there might be some negatives. So I think I am just going to keep it to me playing for fun.

So for all you serious gamers who are into the GTA series, you better get on the ball & get your copy pre-ordered! I sure did!

You have been searching the internet high & low, yet there is nothing that you can find that will solve your problems. None of the books you have bought are working and you are getting really frustrated. I completely understand & there is hope for you. I promise. I know alot of "Online Gurus" promise you the sun, moon and sometimes the earth but it seems like it never works for god's sakes! I seriously have been there, when I first started this little project of mine. I came across Ewealth as well as Wealthy Affiliate forum & they had lots of great information for me & to be honest it helped. I was able to see the many programs out there, what worked & what was considered a scam. There was one program that intrigued me & it was being pushed by a reputable member of the group. A tip: When looking for a reputable program, be sure to look for a few things:

1. How long have they been a member?
2. When they are talking in open forums, are they contributing to the conversation?
3. Do they seem sincere that they want to help others?

Now I am not against the guy but some of his practices & ways he has done things, don't particularily excite me or want to associate with anything of his. His demeanor may work with some people but not me. He also manipulates his money back policy. You can get your money but you have to do XYZ before you can have your money back. Sad to say, but people rarely will ask for their money back just because of that one issue. I don't want that for you.

Depression...Preschoolers....Prozac...My Dog

Did you know that Pre-schoolers are the fastest growing market for anti depressants, I was completely shocked at some of the statistics I was reading while trying to find prozac for my dog, yes my dog has been having issues. She has decided that chewing on the wall is beneficial. I swear I think I am going to drive up to what was left of my house one day & find that I no longer have a house to live in! She is super neurotic as well, jumps incessantly until you pick her up & you have to hold her for HOURS. You probably think I am kidding huh? I guess the benefit is that she isn't a massive dog where if they jump over, down you go.


I have been trying to find remedies that will allow to calm down. I even brought a look like Dog Whisperer around because I couldn't figure why when I told her a command, she had this look like "I will survive against the human" I love the little bugger but sheesh, give me a break, I treat her like she's my one & only. I still house crate her due to the fact that I still want my house to be intact in the morning. A couple weeks ago, I started e

• I took her everywhere I went, I mean literally. I thought maybe if she went everywhere, maybe she would start adjusting to the different scenarios. RESULT: $225.00 fine for my neighborhood, I put her outside for a few minutes, in that time, dug herself a hole and was raising havoc, causing old lady Helmer to lose her teeth & glasses. The city ruled in her favor.
• I started being stricter, issuing time outs in her time out area, another crate that I bought for this project. Not giving her treats when she misbehaved. RESULT: I had to replace the wall where she basically licked it to death, no seriously nice gaping hole. I went to go & release her from time out, her whole nose was covered in white, looked like she's gotten into someone's coke stash..

I finally took her to the vet to see what the heck there was to do, see I don't believe in anti depressants. I think they can mess up with your chemical balances but then I have many people who tell me that it'll fix the imbalance. That's a debate for another day. I guess they have been prescribing Prozac to diagnosed neurotic dogs, yet I am not so sure if it will help them in the long run. I want my dog to live a long & natural life. I guess they need to do more research before I commit myself to giving my dog an additional cocktails before bed.

My advice until they get this completely straightened is really research it and get several opinions!

I decided that I absolutely love helping people. I want to find the best products, the most reputable people, honesty & compassion. I am seeing that it's a dog eat dog world out there when it comes to trying to market money making ideas. That's why I challenge & urge you to look deep within your entrepenuerial self & look beyond that subject of money making ideas & look at other niches. I think you should look at the million other ideas that are out there that are lonely because no one pays attention to them. I think that some of you need to go back to square one & start all over again.

I would like to comment that there are more things than trying to promote money making ideas and false hope. I urge you to look at the various different programs that offer ways to make money with their program. I believe that if you have an audience and some basic tools whilst promoting that you could truly be successful. It's all about testing, researching and understanding how another's brain may actually work like yours in some sense. There is a whole internet out there. I think you need to start looking at the different avenues out there.

The most complex blog of all times is the one where the person spills it all. I want to take the time to explain to people what is really on one's mind. How to make $999,999,999.99 without even blinking....

My secret to generating money is the investing. may not be all those 9's but it's a nice chunk..


Affiliate Marketing is beans compared to the money I make investing & trading..

I make online investing, researching new companies, looking at the various stocks. I am a serious investor. I doghunt new companies that have potential. I play the stocks that are exciting, and made me alot of money. I generally play OTCBB & PINKS for my short term profits. I keep the NASDAQ & NYSE mainly for my long term plays, I have a few stocks that I am particularily proud of.
I recently played DANS a pink slip, It went very high like 2200%, but I played the trends and rode the waves til no more.

I even have had stocks such as RZ which I had when it was $3.37, then I sold it when it hit the $6.50 mark.
I can pick them quite well along with the help of my buddies over at Investors Hub.
I love that place. That's where I started, I was super clueless yet I wanted to learn.

I was prompted to go check out Investopedia, let me tell you something that places is literally the stomping grounds fo learning anything about investments, the stock market, how to play or not to play. The trends to follow, plus it gives you the opportunity to do your own research.

I recommend these places highly to get you the full knowledge, if you have money to spare, go with some of the services on Fool bandwagon because they are super intelligent when it comes to picking them out. I even bought one of several books that these guys come out with. I also recommend getting a full membership, like $40.00 something for 3-6 month memberships, with Investors Hub. I renew every six months. I also think KNOBIAS i a GREAT tool to use to monitor the trends & such. It's expensive but you only use that if you trade and scour the stock market, they have a 7 day free trial if you want to try it out.
I also recommend getting an account with either TDAmeritrade or ETRADE

It's tough to get into or have the proper course of action, but with the right tools and education, you can seriously make great bank. I am 26 & I am doing very well for my financial security. I don't recommend getting into the stock market because you think it'll make you a few quick dollars, because lady stock market is nasty sometimes, she'll pick you, toss you around a few times & then SLAM you down when she thinks you haven't had enough!

My strongest advice is to to emotionless when playing on the market, be decisive and keep the 10% rule no matter how much you have grown attached to the stock, where a lot of people mess up, they get attached. Not the right move, trust me on that. I have done it time & time again til I realized one day that I wasn't making money, I was losing it! Make money & prosper!

I love playing video games, I'd play all day if I was able to. I don't have alot of money to do this, still in school, got expenses that can't really budge for $25-40.00 dollars a game. I will tell you this, I have a good hefty collection, though? My secret is I never had to take out a second mortgage. I realize that while I am 27ish, give or take a year that it shouldn't constitute me from being mean, right? Well, guess what I am human & I have freedom of speech :) So I promised myself that I wouldn't be mean while he was on the show. Yet I was, because anytime he was on, I totally fell asleep, I moaned, I flipped channels and I prayed for our young society!

What the hell has gone wrong? The fact that whenever Sanjaya was up there, he sounded like he was in pain, and here we have a million teeny boppers with their damned cell phones that give them unlimited night time minutes with supposedly nothing better to do than call a number a million times, whatever happened to homework? Study groups?

C'mon people, do you remember when life was simple, where cell phones, ipods and anything worth 200 dollars was prohibited on school grounds.

I honestly think that our society has given up. The teachers basically hold students hands as they go into tests, they sit there exasparated because nobody wants to learn. While maybe there may be some learning processes out there, something is coming and I am not sure I can put my finger to it. I just want to say that our music industry almost suffered a lapse of judgement had Lakisha's family not been able to step up...

Just shows you who has the stronger hand in this pudding jar!

So back when I was in college, I had a helluva time trying to manage my course load without having my books. I remember so many times busting my a** working at the local grocery store, trying to ensure I had enough money for my books.

I wasn't one of the lucky one where mom & dad paid my way through school. I worked two jobs, one that was purely my hobby & the other was my day job. Now this isn't a post trying to bash anyone who has had the fortunate bliss of the parental units free education policy.

I have to say though that I have had the pure bliss in my later years to have an amazing credit score! I'll tell you my secret, if you promise to follow my guidelines down to a T....

I got my first credit card at 17 and trust me when I say this that it was a temptation to the higher heavens, which is why I want you to follow me when I say this.

Teach yourself discipline, and always think to the future because that's where the cream of the crop is. Also be sure to do your homework, yes that dreaded word..but I promise you it'll pay off!

So, 17 obviously came & went..Wanting to know how old I am, I might tell you someday if you are lucky. I eventually completed my schooling, made some friends, new & old. I guess about a year ago, I was ready to settle down & start on a different track.

I was able to buy my first home at 25 and lock in an interest rate that was awesome & very good for a newcomber so to speak..

All because I picked the best credit card for my situation & I had little to no credit. the biggest debate is whether credit matters or not now a days, I am a big believer that credit is everything because it is what advances you to the American Dream

Which include stuff like this... a house at a great interest rate, a vehicle to get you to & from work and less time paying stuff off..
